Two-toned kitchens

Two-toned kitchens feature the perfect mix of colour to define your kitchen. It creates interest and Is a dynamic trend which is here to stay. To create the perfect two-toned kitchen, we recommend selecting a darker counter and then pairing this with a lighter worktop. This style can be implemented in any kitchen and is pretty simple to create. Our favourite colour pairings include the classic black white & wood and white. Using any colour to create a contrast against white is a good way to add interest to your kitchen whilst not losing the crisp, clean aesthetic,

Dark blue

A navy colour palette is definitely something to consider implementing in your kitchen space. Dark blue presents a classic style, which will make your kitchen crisp and sophisticated. Try pairing navy cabinets with a clean, white worktop to create a beautiful contrast in your kitchen. This is two-toned (see above), with these colours matching perfectly. If you want to create something a little more retro, try enhancing the blue tones with accents of red. This will add a great splash of colour into your kitchen, whilst making the space more interesting.

Oakwood

The wooden kitchen cabinet is not new and has been around what seems like forever. However, this style is coming back into fashion and was very popular last year. The caramel tone of oak cabinets creates a warm space for cooking, eating and entertaining. Pair the cabinets with a white backsplash and countertop to create a contrast of colour and to brighten up your kitchen. If you want to try something a little different, consider getting a black granite worktop to create a modern style.

Green

The colour green in the kitchen embodies a sense of luxury, hence why it’s a top choice for leading designers! Shades of olive are commonly used in the kitchen, yet there is no reason why you can’t venture into the realm of stronger hues. If you are looking to brighten your kitchen without falling into the ‘all-white’ trap, mint green cabinets are the perfect solution. Mint presents a beautiful pastel tone, which looks great in nearly any kitchen style. This shade can create a nice contrast to any stainless steel or tiles that you may have in your kitchen.

Grey

A timeless classic. Grey exhibits a sense of luxury, hence why the colour is often used in hotels and modern bathrooms. There is no reason why grey cant make its way into the kitchen. Try getting your hands-on grey cabinets, then pair these with wither black, white or wooden worktop to create that essential contrast. Grey is stylish and modern and can be used in many different shades to create a space that’s perfect for you.
